Watches are a dime a dozen nowadays, but very seldom do I find any that are both different AND stylish. Then JORD (“Yode”) watches came along. I honestly sat at my desk for an hour going back and forth trying to decide which style I liked the best. I’m fairly sure that my favorite is the Meridian Series, specifically the Dusk and Argent watches, but I also liked the steampunk feel of the Dover Series.

It’s important to note that I was contacted by a representative from JORD and offered a free watch to promote their product, though my opinions are my own. Of the watches I was offered, I chose the Olive and Acacia watch of the Dover Series. The large numbers were a big plus considering that I have poor eyesight, and the gears in the background were a nice touch. I wish the hands were slightly longer so that they didn’t blend in with the background, but this is only an issue when light hits the face at a certain angle. It features a “seconds” tracker around the perimeter of the sapphire crystal glass and the watch is easily set via one knob on the right. It claims to be splash-proof but should NOT be submerged in water. All in all, I was happy with the watch that I received.
