Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the (*trumpets/fanfare*) “2017 DGA Awards”. You may now applaud. Seriously though, this time of year is probably one of my favorites. Aside from the fact that tax season is almost here, I get to revisit all the games I’ve played this year and compare them against games I listed as my favorite for the previous year.
On another positive note, DGA continues to expand in part to some amazing supporters…namely my Patreon subscribers who, while few, are pretty darned awesome. For $1+/month, you’ll get a shout-out in a monthly thank-you video as well as a chance to earn a free Steam key…the higher the pledge the better the chance. $5+/month gets you access to my discord server where you can talk to yours truly. Since YouTube’s ad-friendly policy is messed up at the moment and flagging almost every one of my videos, your support is needed now more than ever.
As of today, my video count is over 6,000 which is pretty crazy when you think about it. I’m releasing, on average, three or four videos a day averaging between ten and thirty minutes in length. Some of my live-streams have gone on for almost four hours. If you like my commentary, I guarantee you won’t be bored as you’ll most likely find something you haven’t watched on my channel yet. With that said, I am taking suggestions on how to improve my channel to get more average views per video. Hit me up if you see something other YouTubers are doing that I’m not…vmp0514@msn.com. Now onto the show!

Standard disclaimers apply:
This is not a “best of” list. You can’t claim something is the best if you haven’t tried every other product like it on the market. These are my favorite games at this point in time, labeled as a top ten with honorable mentions. To stretch my brain a bit, I made a rule to where I cannot include games I’ve already listed last year. That really stinks, because there are so many awesome games out there that I want to mention! Go check out the previous years’ DGA Awards for more games that I REALLY like, as well as my written reviews & YouTube playlists to see all the games that I own.
