I’m not a big fan of dice, but “Roll For Adventure” scratched all the right itches enough for me to thoroughly enjoy it. It’s a cooperative game where players are tasked with collecting so many gems/stones of power before one of the four lands they are trying to protect are overrun. A typical turn involves rolling dice unique to your character, activating your character’s special ability if possible, and assigning dice to one of the many boards to complete tasks. Enemies still remaining have the possibility of being activated, thus doing damage to your lands.
Per the usual I decided to cover “Roll For Adventure” in video form, so check out the video below for rules, a play-through, and first impressions. If I may cut to the chase, this game was a real treat to play and I highly recommend it to casual and hardcore gamers alike. While not in the rulebook, you COULD draw a monster at the end of a round rather than at the end of a player’s turn to make it easier for the former. Or, include more dice!
Final Verdict: 8/10

Solid recap! I have never played ROLL FOR ADVENTURE but it seems like something I could get into I also usually do not like Dice either, I do not like the luck over strategy effect they have, but this game seems rich and robust with a lot going on.
I have been into Roll-N-Write games lately. Same thing, they have dice (mostly), but it is not totally reliant on luck. This is my list of top ten, would love your thoughts on any games you like in the genre.
