2020 has been a rough year for everyone. I myself had 3 surgeries this year and I am now trying to find a way to deal with chronic pain that keeps me awake at all hours of the night. I’m so thankful that game developers/publishers continue to pump out games so that the rest of us gamer folk can enjoy them, especially now that social distancing is a thing. Platforms like Tabletop Simulator and Steam have been incredibly helpful. I personally would love to see more board games go digital.
Once again we’ll be touching on our favorite games this year along with a new “top ten favorite games of all time” list. As I’ve stated year after year, we do not have access to every game on the market. Anything covered on these lists are only those games that we own. We get about 15 board games free a year from various sources…the rest we buy, so our selection for 2020 is somewhat limited. To that end, the games we cover here are representative of games we first played in 2020 regardless of release date. I’d love to only cover those games published in 2020 but without more press copies and/or Patreon donations I’m afraid that won’t happen.
Speaking of which, I lost my job at the end of 2019 (along with 200+ others) when the company I worked for “reorganized”. I have yet been able to get another job what with my surgeries and medical issues. If all of my fans/YT subscribers donated $1 a month I’d have more than enough to cover expenses AND publish more content without having to look for another job. I have a semi-regular podcast and call out supporter names monthly and even give out keys to the top supporters. I’d appreciate any support you can give me.
You’re just here for the list, I get it. Still, I had to try. 🙂

Thanks for the link! I applied for SSD so I’d hate to double dip and take it from folks that need it more than I do. I will consider this though if the SSD doesn’t fall through.
I quite like your unique taste in games. These make for some great recommendations. Thank you!
